We have turned the house upside down, inside out, looked under, above, and through...and our little piece of hand-held technology has yet to be found.
We are keeping an optimistic outlook on the situation.
And the little one is saying mum (pretty literally) and hasn't given us any clues (we are for certain this was her work).

Added Note: I FOUND IT!! The day after I wrote this post (Wednesday) I continued my search and found the remote behind the tv in the midst of all the cords and wires. Hooray.
